Hi, I am a 5ft 5in, auburn haired girl with an athletic build. I was always described as "beautiful", but it's amazing how marriage can kill compliments! However, you'd have to judge for yourself :)

I am very active and love to ski, bike, hike, swim and go to exercise classes. I love adventure, so am always ready to try something new, or just take off on the spur of the moment for the weekend. I love nature, so will spend as much of my time outdoors as possible. Some of my favourite places, close by, are Banff, Lake Louise, Bragg Creek and Elbow Falls.

I have quite an artistic and spiritual side also.

My two children, aged 7 and 10, are the centre of my world. They enjoy to do all the activities I do, and also are into hockey, dance and soccer. They are great kids, one being the architypal "angel" and the other the 10 going on 15!

I am honest, transparent in everything I say and do, trustworthy, kind, caring, affectionate, loving and passionate. I would hope that my ideal partner would be the same.

Something where we could be ourselves and show a bit of that. I'd rather "do" something active than sit in a coffee shop. I had a great first date that involved a trip to a National Park, a romantic meal and a hilarious night dancing to a live band. Having said that, I also went to an alternative art gallery on a different date. The sky's the limit where imagination is concerned.

Sky-diving. Scuba diving in something other than the hotel pool. Dirt biking. Playing the guitar and drums (well!) Singing in a band again. Getting good at dance.

Skiing as fast as I can down a mountain (and that's fast!) on a perfectly sunny day, at 5 degrees celsius, in a T-shirt. Laughing until I cry with my friends. Laughing until I cry with my kids.
