Are you a Frank Sinatra fan? Then you probably recognize my intro line - one from the classic American songbook he made famous.

First, I should probably share with you a little something about me. I am 6'2" and 225 lbs., a former track athlete continuing to struggle with the right balance between eating and exercise. I work out a couple of days a week to stay in shape and to keep the pounds from collecting in all of the wrong places. Over the past ten years or so, my once thick dark brown hair has turned salt and pepper on the sides and is balding on top.

I am fortunate to have a flexible arrangement which enables me to have dinner with my kids at least a couple of nights a week and spend portions of most weekends together. I am actively involved in their activities and I thoroughly enjoy the time I spend with them. They are without question my greatest accomplishment.

My education and career path has taken me to Washington, Connecticut, and to greater Boston. If you ask them, my friends will describe me as bright, articulate, organized, and a leader in my profession as a senior manager in local government. I am a dedicated and committed professional, spending long days due to early morning and evening meetings for volunteer citizen committees.

Despite my busy professional and family life, I miss the connection of a romantic relationship with that special someone. You will find that I am a hopeless romantic, warm, sensitive, attentive and caring. I often do something "just because" - giving your favorite flowers, leaving notes, sending emails, or leaving a quick voice mail to let you know you are on my mind. I enjoy cooking a meal together, sharing the events of the day over a great bottle of wine.

I will connect best with someone who is bright, articulate, intellectually curious, caring, romantic, energetic and possesses a great sense of humor. You have that indescribable and irresistible presence that lights up a room. You have loved before, learned much from the experience, and aren't afraid to find love again. You understand that compromise and consensus are the keys to any successful relationship. You are a terrific Mom to your children and you thoroughly treasure your time with them. You balance a career, single parenthood, and hopefully, have time for a romantic partner to add happiness to your already great life.
